A.H.J. Dautzenberg and Rob Moonen collaborated with fourteen artists to create a wreath of sonnets. A wreath of sonnets is formed by fourteen thematically interconnected sonnets, of which the opening or closing lines together form a fifteenth sonnet - the master sonnet. They drew inspiration from Baruch Spinoza, Johan Huizinga, and the nature located in the triangle of Schaapsven, Koningshoeven, and Moerenburg near Tilburg.

For this project, I composed the fourth sonnet (a visual sonnet). The two quatrains are charcoal drawings on paper, inspired by the movemensts of growth and decay of an old pine tree by the water. The tercets after the volta are clay strings, attached to bramble cordage made from blackberry shrubs from the landscape triangle. Blackberries thrive on nitrogen-rich soil, often indicating human activity in the landscape. I therefore used it as a symbol for the interrelationship between human and nature.

The master sonnet was written by A.H.J. Dautzenberg. The participating artists are Rob Moonen, Bart de Vrees, Skypunch Collective (Celine Werkhoven & Anna Zurkirchen), Sabina Timmermans, Merijn Bisschops, Inez Wolters, S. Lloyd Trumpstein, Rianne Wilbers, Reinoud van Vught, Frank Crijns, Eric van der Westen, Rohiet Tjon Poen Gie, Jenny Ymker, and William van der Voort (along with his band GGU:LL).
